Strategic Management
About This Course
Define corporate level strategy and business unit level strategy, along with the differences between them.
Corporate, business, and functional levels all contribute to the development of an organisation ’s goals. Strategies at the corporate level are the most high-level type of strategy development, and they include everything from the company’s overarching goal to its acquisition and deployment of assets to the synchronization of the approaches of its many strategic business units. The company’s top brass are the ones responsible for making long-term plans. Actions at the strategic level are often less tangible than those made at the operational or tactical levels because of their value-oriented, theoretical character (Li and Chen 2020).
